Würth In Sport

Since 2006, we have accompanied the German national team on their way to World Cups and European Championships. Now that they have won the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil, we will be represented with perimeter advertising in a total of 85 qualifying matches for the European Championship 2016 in France. Our logo will not only to be seen in the matches of the German, but also of the Spanish and the Italian national teams.

“It’s all about technique” – this slogan has accompanied our sponsoring commitment with the German ski association DSV, which has been in place since the 2002/2003 season. No matter whether it’s in winter sports or at Würth, to be successful you need to have the right technique. However, this also implies that you have to continue to develop and therefore prepare the ground for innovation so that you ultimately end up that proverbial step ahead of the competition. Both the DSV and Würth know that technique and technology lay the ground for everything else.

On account of the successful cooperation we have expanded our commitment by alpine skiing and ski cross since the 2008/2009 season, thus making us a partner of all German ski teams. In addition to that, we support the snowboarders since season 2012/2013. The logo on the athletes’ clothing means that we always have a presence at the competitions
